Parents these days are in a hurry
I remember my beautiful childhood. Each of us dreams and grows up completely differently as a child. Now, I find it very fascinating that parents are so successful and put so much pressure on their children. For example, if a child does not talk much at the age of three, parents feel very depressed and disgusted and immediately begin to address the fact that their child does not talk at the age of three. However, each child is completely different. Of course, we must remember that each child develops differently.
If you know from birth that there is no defect, sooner or later the child will start talking. Parents need not worry about anything, nor should they rush to get their child into speech therapy as soon as he or she turns 3 years old. It is true that speech therapists do not do anything immediately with a 3-year-old minor child; it is more of a consultation. It is certainly better to wait. If you put the child in kindergarten, even there the child will speak more or less a little more. If the child\’s problems have lasted longer than you think, then going to speech therapy at age 5 will help the child to speak more, and the speech therapist can help him too.
But parents, do not worry. Because children are developing and just starting to talk. Because X years ago, this was not as much of a problem as it is now. Parents are already getting ahead of themselves and worrying about their kids not talking, but there\’s absolutely nothing to worry about. Besides, going to speech therapy at least at age 4 or 5 is enough for a child. Times are very rushed, but this should not be the case at all.
