And you can start gluing according to your imagination, you will see that the result will be worth it. If you can find ribbons in orange, yellow or green at home, you can use them for decoration. The autumn wreath will decorate your home and will certainly make it cosier.
Make aHalloween pumpkin scarecrow
This fun activity will be most appreciated by children, who will be thrilled. It\’s not hard at all, just get pumpkins in any size you like from the store. Think carefully about what shape of face you want to carve on the pumpkin. It will help a lot if you draw the outline on the pumpkin with a marker, so you will be more confident when carving. Cut the round hole around the stem first, but make sure the slope of the cut is sloping. You don\’t want the hatch to fall down.
Then start hollowing out the pumpkin with a regular spoon until the inside of the pumpkin is empty. Then you can use the knife to carve the face you have chosen. And you\’re done. Then all you have to do is put a tea light inside and choose a nice place for the scarecrow – preferably on a terrace or balcony.
Autumn candle holders will make any home cosy
If you\’re not the creative type, but would still like to add a bit of colour to your home, try making an autumn candle holder. All you need are white candles, a few beautifully coloured leaves, decorative string, pine cones, acorns and rowan trees. Arrange the candles on a decorative tray according to your fancy and glue a small coloured leaf to the bottom of each candle, which you can tie over with twine. Around the candles you can arrange rowan, pinecones or chestnuts. The candle holders are really beautiful, just keep an eye on the lit candle and remove the decorations towards the end of the burn. After all – a sure thing is a sure thing. If you know you won\’t keep the candle safe – make a safer version. Stick some colourful leaves on a jar and put a tea light candle inside. You\’ll see that the candle holders will look really magical at night.
