Cell Phones and Their Status
Having a cell phone is very normal nowadays. But you also need to know when you can pick up your cell phone. And you have to know where to find it. I remember when a friend of mine attended her grandmother\’s funeral and she invited me too. The worst part was when I was at the funeral. It was really horrible and very wild in my opinion. Someone\’s cell phone started ringing in my pocket. I was embarrassed, but fortunately it wasn\’t me. I\’d turn off the sound on my phone, turn off the vibration, or turn off the phone altogether.
And at the funeral, of course, I turn my cell phone off completely. Because after the funeral is over, the entire funeral home does not want to see my face for interrupting a sad and serious ceremony. Every memorial service is serious and important. Now, I also want to talk about children. Do you let your children have cell phones? Nowadays, even a five-year-old child, or even a six-year-old child, already has a cell phone. It is not a loaner phone; it is their cell phone. Many families forbid this. However, some families support it. I belong to the latter group.
I belong to the group that supports young children having cell phones. Personally, I don\’t see any problem with it at all. I see no reason why children should not have cell phones. It\’s like an educational toy. You know what an educational toy is? They\’re toys for fun. That\’s why young children, and even older children, play with them. That means that the toys not only entertain children, but also educate them at the same time. In other words, cell phones also have educational games. Educational play is very beneficial.
